I was told a 1/2" longer shock/ stroke would equate to about 1" more travel. And I would probably set sag a little more that before.

Ohlins (or wilbers) are the best money spent on my 1100gs so far. I found used for half price. Note: 1150 shocks will not fit!

I love my 1100gs has a nice low first gear, lots of used parts available, and I can fix it myself. I spent the extra money on a dirt bike and vacations. Besides the 1100gs has " The Mick Jagger look"...
