Or bad prep in any way, or concrete that is not in top condition. Even then epoxy is easy to scrape and damage. It chips easier than ceramic, and far easier then Porcelain.

I would sell/trade your Sargent for a stock seat. The Sargent seat pan is just as good, but you could make a few bucks that way and lots of stock seats on shelves these days.
