I'm slowly losing the will to live...
My DR800 has been at the Garage for 2 and a half weeks now.
They're still not able to get it to spark.
The generator was re-wound but no change. Next they suggested we change the cdi, I found one...

We did it!
A massive, massive thanks to Ladder106, RobMoto and TimGuyUK -
My carbs are clean as a whistle with new rubbers in them and back on the bike - fitted with no more leaks!
I also changed the air...

To be honest I couldn't smell petrol but the oil level was full - think you're right, best to changes the oil & filter to be safe, plus my sense of smell is sh*t.

The DVLA have it as a 1992 model but looking at some pictures of DR800's, it looks exactly like the 1991 model, not the 92 one (graphics etc)
