Well Facets where the first choice that came up.

But there are reports they die after... mine died with 40k kms. I went with Dr Beans. They are very sensitive with debris in the fuel, while OEM are not.
If fuel pressure changes, you could have...

An aftermarket Shindengen should be at the same cost with OEM

With superrior quality to the OEM.
I would avoid LiPo batteries, as their technology is not mature enough. The good ones are too expensive yet.
Cheers.

Not really.

You need a new one. I think KTM doesn't sell it separately. You will find it in Triumph catalogues.

I am trying to find ways to improove reliability to this bike since 2004

I believe there is no final solution. Whatever works, wears. But no need for stupid unexpected problems. In this direction fuel filters need to get changed when they are clogged. As tyres wear out,...

Well you have a point there

But don't be pesimistick. Things have always been like that. I remember whenever a fellow rider complain for a badly designed part by KTM, somebody would put him straight saying "go buy a Vstrom...

The little retain pin on the pushrod.

Is it sitting horizontally, nesting in the black plastic? could be jamming the pushrod movement.
Did you open the clutch discs? The arrow on the larger clutch basket should align with the arrow on...

Look too perfect to be worn. I bet you could ask your dealer, the ex owner of the transmission, Pyndon, Sakurama or Zuber.

Fork oil is thinner than trans oil

So liquids move easier in the narrow lines.
You can dismount the slave from its position and help air bubbles move (without disconnecting the hose). Don't forget yourself and squeeze the lever while...

O.K. I just checked your product.

Very interesting. My filters are a part of the fuel system of the bike. Your solution is protecting the bike's fuel system and prolonging filter life. I never suggested replacing fuel filters every...

The slave cylinder pushes the rod, towards the motor.

On the other side, the rod pushes the pressure plate, thus disengaging the clutch discs, compressing the 6 springs.
Cheers.

This is also another point to check.

I had the sidestand coming loose. It would affect the ignition. Could need tightening.
The master relay could also need some inspection.
Have a look at the lower right, inside the skidplate.

However I would give a good punch on little rods to the upper left part that sometimes descides to loose one of its rods in the gears inferno.

Key lock switch

It is titled " Aftermarket fuel filter set for the KTM 990 injection, 1190"

Through the forum ( pm) it is cheaper though

You can copy it at a workshop. The sealing is accomplished with the oring, so no need for super smooth surfaces. If the piston is the faulty part, it isn't too expensive to fabricate one on lathe....

If piston is scored..

my guess is it got scored contacting the cylinder surface. That means the cylinder is also scored. Orings cannot seal a scored cylinder, they will fail in a short time.
New cylinder needed.

Clutch discs warp and there are certain areas that rub between each other, breaking the oil layer, because they are small areas. When new smooth discs are inserted, the surfaces match better to each...

Around the damper bolt. Later ones got more solid at this area. Pyndon installed a later one with no problems IIRC.

Could you tell if the cylinder is scored at the inner surface, or the piston is cracked close to the nipple?

But I cannot recommend them because of bad communication - sending time.
