I bought the wrong Sena? Now why would one BT hub have a delay and not the other one? And why does Sena not know about this? I spent some time after I bought the SR10 querying those in the know...

Yes, I've found a reason,

there's a delay for Bluetooth to open the channel and start transmitting. Maybe less than a second but that's plenty for radar to get a lock before you start to decelerate.

Low beam must allow NO light to shine above horizontal.

Both the LC8 and Transalp perform nicely with incandescent bulbs; Transalp does nicely with the LED but the KTM is shining lots of light...

Bluetooth has freed me from that cursed helmet wire. Hooray.
But there's a delay of a second or so before opening transmission. Not a biggie,... except when it comes to the radar detector; here...
