Generac and Kohler makes some small diesel gens. LP's not a bad choice either if you source a large tank with a smaller gen.

Sounds like you might need at least 10kW to run all that stuff....

I remember the road to Alpine Tunnel being in pretty good shape. It's just the old railroad grade converted to a Jeep trail. The Ninja may have some difficulty. A Strom shouldn't have any problems.

I've got to chime in with the NX250 as I'm biased and smitten with mine. Water-cooled, twin over head cam, six speed, 60MPG. The only downsides being a smallish tank and the oddball 16" rear wheel.
