I'm pretty sure it's the flapper. I heard mine beeping once when the flapper didn't go through it's usual routine during startup. That was almost a year ago and hasn't done it since.

I almost traded in my 09 RT for a 2011 RT and after a couple test rides I really didn't like the change either. I'm sure one would get used to it though.

My 09 Does the same thing as well. I had an 07 GSA that didn't do that. I spoke to the service manager about a week ago and he was going to find out why it does that. No word yet.

When riding off road with my wife she was always sliding forward on some of the rougher areas with the stock GSA seat. The angle of an after market seat will help the passenger stay in place.

They are the stock tires off of a DR650. Still like new. 90/90-21 and 120/90-17. Anyone around Albuquerque wants to swing by and pick these up. 259-3980. The tires are now gone.
