I run heated gloves and a full heated jacket all the time, hundreds of miles just fine no problem. I do have HID headlight, so ~30W instead of 55W there. Voltage hits ~13.2 minimum.

I had already stripped one threaded hole on my '07 alloy subframe, pillion grab handle mount, where my xtank is installed.
So Erik sent me both the xrack and a (TT) steel subframe.
No special tabs...
