I went with vinyl and the half moon pattern on mine. I bought the seat for comfort, not looks and didn't really care about the material. Plus I wear a RC so I wouldn't feel the difference anyways....

I have a Sena SMH10 unit on my helmet with speakers and it is plenty loud. I ride with earplugs and have no trouble hearing music or calls if they come in. I highly recommend it.
