Hope you include the Kootenays on your trip....Hwy 3 is a nice ride that leads to Nelson/Kaslo/Kootenay Lake and some of the best riding/camping/scenery in southern BC.

The Merridale Cidery has really good food, decent cider and a great setting....on a sunny day I can't think of a better spot in that area to have lunch.
