I try to buy locally but never have found a dealership willing to come down in price which is almost always at or above MSRP. I call a couple states away and get the bike for 1-2 grand less...

Most of my front's cup to crap on the 950. I just accept it and change the fronts out with the rears. I wouldn't go below 28-30 psi on the front or you'll start bending the soft stock rim on trails....

That seems like a bit of a pain in the butt though interesting way of doing it. Personally I'd rather just pop off the heads and make quick work of it using a spring compressor tool.

Oh, check your ignition switch contacts for corrosion. Jiggle the wire coming out of the bottom of the ignition lock. If you bike sputters when doing that it's usually the contacts in the bottom half...

Plop it in the front carb, take a reading at idle and then around 5.5k then plop it in the rear carb...

It's hard to tell at this angle but if the lobes are pressing then it's not at TDC for the compression stroke. If the front of the bike is to the left of the picture then it looks like you're coming...

Check for pinched fuel lines. My old 950 had a partially pinched fuel line from the main tap on the left tank to the fuel...
