It can depend on what kit you're wearing. Thin summer jeans is when I notice the heat coming out the RHS from across the cylinder head. And, as I said earlier, it's only when the fan kicks in.

Although, using a BMW is probably not the best example as they don't fall over all the way due to their cylinders sticking out.

The rear is. That's why people can seal the spokes and run tubeless on the rear.

No Tigers, or even triples are manufactured in Thailand. Only the twins for the Asian market including Australia and NZ. I think the US comes into that as well. AFAIK.

IMO the rear because the front damping can be addressed to some extent by changing to a different weight and height of fork oil. Springs are fairly cheap.
