your gonna find you will want a +1 front and -4 rear sprocket I think, love that setup on mine! Also, get hotcams, they come with an auto decompressor...

Thanks guys, I was wearing boots, but not motocross boots.... I have always hated moto boots because you have no ankle movement. And yeah, I defiantly rolled the ankle bad, as the weight of the bike...

I don't know, but Yamaha or Honda would make a ton of sales with a WR 450 or CRF 450x..... I mean these bikes are basically ready to go as-is, with electric start, battery w/ charging system, heaver...

Thanks guys, I will give these tires a chance then.... I know there was no mold release, etc on the tire, as i had done some nice WOT runs in the sand during the ride, but possibly it never touched...

Do new Tires have a "break in"?
I just installed a kenda tracmaster 2 rear, and kenda 777f DOT dirt tires on my bike. First ride out today, about 5 miles into the ride of 50/50 dirt street, i came out of a trail and in 2nd gear...

I tried street tires on my Wr 400 today
My bike came with a set of stock rim size street tires.....So i decided to put them on.
I can say that its much smoother, and can really stock to the road, however i allready wanted to go...

Depending on your state, you can make a WR 450...
Depending on your state, you can make a WR 450 street legal quite easily....besides adding blinkers, etc the bike is really set up well for street use.... Im jelous of the 450's and electric start...

ac-10s are good tires, I had run them and got around 1500 miles on the rear. They actually stock pretty good on the road and off road hook up "ok" but not too great in soft stuff.

I love the bike, but stock you cant ride it street for more than 45 mins with that hard seat, I added extra soft seat foam, and its great. With 15/48 gearing it cruises good on...

I know wr's arn't road legal stock, but if you can make one legal, shoot for a Yamaha wr 400/426/450...I LOVE mine....its light like a dirtbike ~240 lbs, has pleanty of power, and with a +1 front...
