I was offroading and came off, the bike slid over my foot rotating my foot, had a dislocated ankle, broken fibia - plated and 5 screws next to the ankle also fractures in most of the metitarsal bones...

I have bought the crossfires for the same reason.
It took a dislocated and broken ankle with a plate and 5 screws before I learned the lesson. Now I wont ride offroad without them.
