I'm using 4.0, but it shouldn't be enough to boil and lock the system up. It's not like it's a roadrace bike where I'm on and off the rear brake. It's occasional use on my long adventure, dirt rides....

I needed a quick fix in the meantime and used some Tygon hose. It's held up over night and it looks trick. Maybe I'll end up keeping it on there.
