just did the test, and soaked the carb with carb cleaner. no change in rpm at all. and the throttle has quite a bit of slack in it.

when i pulled the carb off, everything looked to be very clean....

Hit a dead deer at 55mph with mine :eek1back in march, 8000 miles later still no problems. Man there are alot of deer out this year.
