As far as looks, I think the Varios do look good...

As far as looks, I think the Varios do look good and especially like the clean appearance when the cases aren't on the bike. The extra protection from a strong side mounts isn't a bad trade off...

I pulled the cover off and checked. They wired directly to the battery on both the negative post and the positive post (so they must have pulled the battery out to get at the positive post).

I had the quick-lock system on my 2008 but never liked the "perched" look of that system. I decided to try the BMW tankbag since they came out with the quick connects instead of the zipper system.
