I feel sort of a rubbing (hesitate to call it grinding), when I'm not straight upright on the GS. It seems especially noticeable when I turn left, and lean hard. Feels kind of like a transition...

Super easy with the Sicass Racing kit - it used all OEM connectors. It took longer to route wires and get them all stashed away.

The 250XC has a 200 watt stator. Seems to be plenty for this set...

I guess the only downside was the risk of sucking oil in through the carb, but perhaps there is some other issue going on. When it happens, it's not fun, lots of smoke, the bike bogs, and if it dies...

90 hours, and the left rear (intake) valve gap is less than .10mm... All the others are between .10 and .12 or so. This one is probably .08 or .09. The bike still runs and starts just fine though.
