While I couldn't imagine owning a Ducati, KTM or V4 without a aftermarket exhaust, As much as I love the Boxer, just better to keep it quiet. :D

I used high temp wheel bearing grease and have had no trouble. Pretty simple procedure. Just loosen the mounting bolts evenly and the slave will come off the back of the transmission housing....

If the valves cannot be filled with a standard air chuck, and BMW provides no special tool to do so, then their should be a recall to replace them. Best to report the problem to the NHTSA.

I'd say that's not always the case. Antenna ring failures on the Hexhead showed up after BMW updated the original.

IMO, The power outlet is a better option because that line is fused. Some don't like it because it remains on for 30 seconds after the ignition is cut or they claim the outlet may stay switched on....
