I start up the weather subscription (Fisherman package) in the spring and cancel in the fall. Some occasionally frustrating minutes on the phone and a $50 startup charge but you still save some $$$...

I had a Legend a while back. For the money, it served me well. Replaced by a Vista Cx. I used Mapsource. I only used it to load Garmin maps but you might want to give it a try.

TT sidestand
I can confirm the TT sidestand is easy to shorten. I took 1/2 inch off, decided it wasn't quite there and took another 1/2 inch. That's about the limit without drilling.

Trailtech kickstand
