Final Resolution

Well the bike is back in my hands. BMW paid the freight both ways. The issue seems to be resolved with the new battery. They never said exactly what had happened to the battery.

The OP has not checked his charging system voltage because the battery is dead and to start it and check the voltage he would have to jump start it again and at this point.... HE AIN'T GONNA DO THAT.
