I use Worldmap 2.0 (c.1995-1999) and yes, in comparison to Metroguide or Nav/Select, WorldMap is pretty sucky on detail, however, it's MUCH more detailed in Mexico than the pre-installed NA basemap....

It seems to me that when flying tracks, whenever the "camera point of view" runs into a mountain or other feature, that's when it malfunctions. I experimented around with viewing angle and altitude...
