Riding along at 75mph and notice brake failure light flashing

I had "residual braking" after that.

I pulled over and switched to non-abs mode

this is a 2005 1200gs w/29k on odometer

salt

That's a wicked cool ride! don't worry about the salt, that looks like a tough machine.

I have the same problem, my bike is covered with salt and it's too cold to wash it off.

Eh? Watch out for car wash exits

The cars come out wet, and then the water freezes on the roadway(I was a physics major).

Saw 20 feet of ice today up here in Massachusetts in front of a carwash.

the most insane thing about lane-splitting...

is the riders who don't do it.

I saw a group of 5-7 motorcyclists actually sitting or lying back on their bikes(engines turned off) in a 7+/- mile back-up heading to key west, fl. they were...

Question Who thinks you're insane for riding a motorcycle every day?

your parents
your friends
your co-workers
wife
.....etc....
I don't see riding to work on a bike in february more insane than commuting in a Ford Excursion in July.

I'm not a tree hugger,...

speedin, hopped up gin and weed

I WAS doing 90-95, and the fucked up part is, is that that is a comfortable cruising speed for a bike. Speaking of 420, I could've sworn that the cop was letting out a Shepard to help.

Puke Speeding ticket ride report. no pics but a question
