oil filter

anyone tried taking two straight blade screw drivers, cross them w/ the tips against the inner ridge of the filter and wiggle it out. seems like a simple way. I've not had a problem w/ this issue.

Yes, the 200 is that much better in tight single track imo; i have both a 200 and 500. The 200 frame is a 125 frame and rails the turns, is light and flickable. The 500 is good but a 200 will walk...

You can try superglue and then smooth w/ emery cloth. This has worked great for me in the past and you may as well try it before you dump a bunch of cash for new legs.

If I was looking for a bigger tank now I'd go for the 5.3. You don't have to fill it to the top every ride, just fill it according to the ride your doing at the time. As for looks...you can't see it...

I understand...i have a 500. I'm just saying the 350 is, imo, better suited for single track if thats what you ride the most. A bike w/ more power will sap your strength quicker than one w/ less...

Get a 2 x 10/12, bevel one edge where it meets the pavement. Take a piece of flat metal stock & put a bend to rest on the tail gate. I've used the same one for 20yrs w/o fail.

Just keep the smog stuff & install if you take the bike to the dealer. You could call a dealer and ask how desmog would affect the warranty....
