Certainly.
Some of us have 2" risers AND higher than stock bars.
I have the 2" risers and ATV high bars and use the stock cables & wires...
However, the cables did require rerouting to the close...

I just checked the 2015 Milepost and it says there is no gas available between Girdwood and Seward, about 88 miles.
