I wasn't aware that adventure meant freeway travel... Even if it does, so what? The 650 will go 110+ MPH without fuss, 75 is no problem at all. The bike has 6 speeds and a wide ratio transmission....

Doubtful, the balast needs a certain wattage to run at all. Above that wattage it runs on one setting, bright. Below that voltage, it shuts off.
