firstly research BMS reset for the dakar. Then make sure you do not touch the throttle during while on the ignition. Also remember to only let go of the starter button when the bike is fully running....

I think the TT loawer brace is actually just a modified OEM one. Very easy to make at home, with the right gear.

There should not be an issue with mixing oils like that. Ultimately the bike will tell you if it does not like the synthetic with a slipping clutch. Mechanically I cannot see anything that may fail...

One thought though. You will not be able to weld it nicely because of the sand blasting....

My experience is that some clutches do not like full synth, like my bmw dakar.
