Congrats on the hip. I would imagine that everyone will have a diferent answer for this so I will chime in with my experience , I waited 3 months. I had a top heavy KLR at the time.

I am getting a 1970 r75 back on the road and I am not sure how the seat attaches to the frame. I have the two hooks on the seat pan but I have a feeling there is more to this.:ear. Thanks

I pulled the front end apart to polish up the tripple tree and I got the grease on the steering stem bearing dirty. The bearings are new, I recently installed them, so I don't want to pull them off...

I changed my oil a few rides ago and I noticed that when I check my oil it still looks clean. The oil level is spot on. Did I screw this up? Or Am I super lucky?
