/6 and R100
If the R100 is pre 81, it will use the same brace as a /6. Later will not. There are at least 5 different factory braces. Some will fit wider tires. The same applys as far as forks go, pre and post 81

The last Yamaha I owned was a 73 100MX, in 73.
I do know it is possible to convert a XR600 using stock parts.

Only one cylinder at a time
Remember, even with 6 cylinders, there is only ONE on the intake stroke at a time. So really, with a 2300cc engine you are looking at 6 383cc cylinders to feed, one at a time.

No
Disks are different, wrong axle size (17 vs. 25mm) caliper will hit the spokes, etc. you could possibly build a whel using a Talon or such hub as long as you don't care about tubeless.

A few thoughts if you choose to go with Del's.
PHMs as fitted to the R90S will require a change in the inlet spigot of your late model heads. The outer diameter is considerably larger.
PHFs as...

You should not have to pound them in. Put them in the freezer overnight first. While still cold, they should tap, if not lightly press in.
