I found someone selling nearly new spoked gs wheels with like new knobbies on it. He is asking 1500. I have cast wheels on my gs. Will it be worth getting the spokes as extra?

My 09 GS has one european cig lighter outlet and a bmw style 2-pin plug. I have used a european-to-US cig lighter socket converter to use my existing usb hub.

I am still getting used to the new-to-me 2009 GS. A few times I wondered if was lugging the engine or not, being in too high gear. Is there a rule of thumb, something like change gear above 3k rpm.
