I have seen pictures of an AX-1 with conical filter. Only problem you will have when removing the Airfilter box is:
It hold the Battery
It hold some wiring
It holds the rectifier on the bottom...

Thanks, well if you fall down and scratch the paint. I dont mind cause its cheaply fixed.
At least I kept the NX off the scrapyard. Would have been a terrible loss. It is a cool bike to ride.
