Nice! Had a conversation with my dad once about valve clearance. He said to me "do you know how f'ing small .0001" is? I forget what the clearance was for a Harley I think he said 1/4 turn.

Range is .0012 to .0030 inch. That ain't much room.

The smallest feeler I have is .0015 and only one valve will take it.

If they're all that tight...

As I was trying to tidy up the wiring I apparently made a change to where I had things grounded, and ended up with the solenoid grounded to the rubber...

Just ran to Napa, but I didn't like the $40 beast they had. Bike specific ones new on ebay are $7.

New stich goes in the mail tomorrow for repairs. Turnaround wasn't to bad last time I sent them something.
