I believe the fan switch on the radiator is just a ground?? if so unplug the two spade connectors and tape them together. The fan should in theory fire up.....I think:D That would at least tell you...

When I ended up buying mine it was the HP2 or a 950SE. I chose the BMW for
its ease of maintenance and relative great reliability....

+1 for the GiantLoop. It works well with my Remus and Wunderlich rear rack. My only complaints with the it are its inability to keep things dry during monsoons. The main zippers don't seal very well...
