Something else to think about...
Hard boxes need to be full or whatever is in them rattles around and destroys itself. Not a huge problem on good roads, but a real issue on dirt.
Soft luggage usually has some means of compression...

I had the same problem about 3 years ago....
I had the same problem about 3 years ago. Replaced it with another Salewa and I can vouch that the quality is no longer there.
Am now looking for another alternative. Sigh....
