Klim make nice stuff but some basic MX pants will work well too. Use them with some separate strap on knee armour. I added some beefier hip armour to mine as the std pads were quite thin....

There were 2 different materials used for the Adv tanks, non paintable coloured polyethylene (the 'rallye' version) Later models were all nylon (along with the 18L Enduro tanks) & they come painted....
