I'd start with the Buell pegs and a set of Genmar risers and go from there. About $150 total.

My ZX set up like this with a ZG windscreen was way more comfortable than Mrs. iron's C14. For me...

It works for some. I've done a lot of long-ish rides, over 2000 miles in this case, with nothing more than a road bag strapped on the p-pad.. Maybe not everybody's style, but it worked great for me....

- Risers. Genmars worked well for me.

-Windscreen. Zero Gravity on mine.

Luggage To each his own, but I get by with just a road bag. YMMV.
