Can we get this ongoing Rally thread stuck to the top of the racing list. F1 and MotoGP may have higher budgets but in the world of ADV they don't rate the top of the list.

Nice photo but the article incorrectly states (once again) that RG was the first American to win a stage in Dakar.

high wind = no fly

These little aircraft are ok in low wind situations. In an area like Iquique with cool ocean on one side, hot desert on the other, AND steeply rising terrain, that's a recipe for unstable air.
