I find my XD-4 is quieter than my Scherbuerth C-3 modular. However, the XD-4 does get wind, not wind noise, in the helmet when there is a strong cross wind.

There is a screw under the lever by the shifter...

There is a screw under the lever by the shifter peg, easiest to adjust, and another screw that allows you to remove the lever all together and adjust. This one is right by the foot peg
