Side stand

I just laid my bike on the ground, attached a "cheater pipe" to the side stand changed the angle a little bit. Works fine, costs nothing.

Leave the center stand at home.....

When the BMW 650 thermostat is "closed" it forces the water through the radiator. In the "open" position, or, removed, the water is not forced through the coils and circulates back down to the pump...

i bet it's the thermostat. When they fail the bike over heats. You can jury rig the thing to cool the bike until you get a new one. Removing it doesn't solve the problem. it needs to be "closed"...
