2014 GSAW oem cases/locks

Hi All,
Can the lock cores from the oem cases on my 2012 GSA be used in the latches on the cases for the 2014 GSAW? I know the key would be different and that's alright.

Also, has anyone zip...

Old lock cores

Does anyone know if the lock cores from the BMW boxes on a 2012 GSA can be used on the new boxes?

If so, how is one to remove them and install them in the new boxes?

I know the keys would be...

Mid model changes?

Hi All, I'm considering a new GSAW. The nearest dealer has one that is an earlier built one and I'm wondering if BMW has made any changes to the bikes that are mfgd now vs at the end of 2013 that...

It depends

It depends on the type of weather in which you most frequently find yourself.

I have the BMW R3P and like the jacket and pants a lot. 15000 miles and it's still in tip top shape. The liner...

Hey Mark! It's Brad from Oregon.
Did you mount the Marzocchis or does your bike still have the stock forks?
Thanks!

Please PM me as I don't check here too often.

I have 2 totally separate questions about the AFXIED devices:

1. Have they been tested on the new GS/GSA wet heads? (I'm thinking of getting one and if they too have the lean characteristics of my...

Nice tool!

I have one too and use it on my cam head. It works well. I got mine at some random auto parts store for about 5 bucks if one doesn't want to order it. Thanks for posting. It's useful and inexpensive.

Can the throttle bodies be synchronized for the GSW? It makes a huge difference for my cam head and the vibration arrives slowly just as you described.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

What's new?

It seems like many of the suspension failures occur on the 06-09 bikes. Is this simply due to age and soon it will be the 10s then 11s then 12s? Did they change suspension suppliers for the camhead?...
