Anyhow I've had many bikes and many of them had buffeting issues, but the Tenere has been excellent and I am pretty sure it's because the PO installed the tobinator.

I get no buffeting. Stock screen, Wunderlich bracket, 5'7". My friend who's a couple inches taller remarked that it worked better than his FJR's windshield.

The 09's and up are very stable. Of course, I don't recommend riding them cranked over like race bike while going over bumps at high speed. Ride them like a touring bike and they are fine.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I don't feel heat coming off the bike on hot summer days riding in city traffic. I definitely do on the left radiator side. My point is that it's not a comfort issue.

I'm thinking of flat-mounting the plate right on the top of the fender itself. If the stock taillight was partially clear at the very bottom, it would shine some white light on the plate.
