I have finally got my CB160 converted to a CL160 done and cannot get it to idle. I have done the following:

Had the carbs cleaned and rebuilt.
Had new O-rings between the carbs and the manifold....

You were correct. They do screw out. We used some penetrating oil and a gun barrel vise with the appropiate sized wooden blocks to clamp the fork legs down and used an front axle and a big cheater...

Its bent near the attachment point and twisted. Chrome is not good either. Will probably sell it on ebay when I get a better one and the restoration is finished.
