Broken clutch cable again

I installed a brand new clutch cable for my R75. I put maybe 1500 miles on it and it JUST snapped. The cable snapped right at the handle nipple.

What's going on here? Is the cable mid-adjusted?...

Check eBay, for 4 grand you can get a nice, unmolested bike with low miles (30 - 50K).

Check local Craigslist ads. For 4 grand you can do even better...
