I have Ohlins forks and a Penske 3-way rear shock on my track bike. There are far too many variables for me to get it right. The "close enough" factory settings on my LC works fine.

I get a jar of 50 foam plugs at Rite Aid for less than $10. One use only. I don't worry about the sealing because even if they slip a little they are still cutting the noise significantly.

I cut the stem off mine so I could actually turn my heel out while riding. It was easy. I just welded the foot back on and had it powdercoated. It cost me $25 for the paint.

I cut the stem off my center stand so I could actually turn my foot on the left peg. I guess the reduction in weight has eliminated the center stand slap going over bumps too.

I have the foam in there. So many head pipes and cross tubes that there is hardly room. It is better but still noisy. Next step will be some sort of coating - undercoat or maybe bedliner.
