I did a google search. Both are 5 vdc. Ipad mini is 5 watt, 1 amp. Delorme is 10 watt, 2amp.

There's nothing wrong with the bikes. Some of the dealers? And yes, that goes for many brands. Harley just seems more consistent. I've had good and bad experiences.
