We are leaving Phoenix early Thursday morning. Should be their a little after noon.
I will be riding the 1190R, sleeping in a Sandpiper (I hope).

I just tried that.
No luck. Every time when the ignition turns on it will not go past the SERVICE screen without lifting the 2 up/down buttons and hitting another button. There is no service...

Hi,
I have a 14 R with 3,800 miles on her. A lot of dirt rides. Really never following anyone, so the dust was minimal.
Inspected the air filter at 3,500 and perfectly clean in the throttle bodies.

It's the ignition switch.
Happened to mine, also. The contact point on my switch had become worn. I had a short term fix to the switch and then when it happened again I just added another on/off...
