Really like that color!

Between Brian and myself, we've got you covered on any tech/maintenance tips. I think we've both been through everything including the time consuming, but not particularly difficult once you do it...

Yes to the metal

Mine came with one that clips to a fitting mounted to the gas cap housing, brain dump can't remember it now. Bags Connection city bag? Wasn't sure I'd like it but it is just right. Hence the Wolfman...

Enjoy!

Only have 22K on mine in 2 years but it's turned out to be a great bike!

You need to buy my Wolfman explorer lite tank bag - perfect fit! shamless plug, it's in the flea market.

Ditto on those maps

I was checking them out at Bass Pro a few years back. Looking at the map of an area I'm familiar with, I quickly discovered I can't even get to my parcel on a state gravel road - there's a...

agree with this, riding season is fall through spring for me.

I don't have much interest in riding in the heat/humidity of summer, even when I'll be moving all the time and not stuck in stop/go (heading to the mts).

Have to admit, electrics make it easier...

You're going because of that Tenere sliding in the dirt on their site!

Nice photo of the tenere. Looks like an interesting weekend. 100 riders that close to Northern VA, surprised it's not sold out.

Waiting on my shim order (filled in some empty spots in your kit)...

Better compare lights....

Yours may not be as bad/bright as others. I ran PIAA 910's (I think, 6 inch or so diameter) and they were obnoxious during the day (I did not typically leave them on, but when I did it was not unusal...

Third this....

My grassy, wet, steep driveway in the mountains confirms just how damn good the ABS and TC work on this thing. I was skeptical, but now I just enjoy having them.

This is what they did for me

Took it in for the headlight subharness recall (no evidence my bike had a problem) and asked them to listen to the tensioner. Seemed a little noisy on start-up, but would go away after a minute or...

And people wonder why I do my own service

So I wrap up a service on my Tenere, all the bodywork is off so I set up to have the headlight sub-harness replaced and get a state inspection. So all they have to do is remove 4 bolts from the front...

Hmmm, not sure. I can check

Brian's hot cam kit in my garage (I'm guessing there is some specification on the package). Never had to do any shims on my '03 strom in 50K miles so don't know what they looked like.

Nice 2012 S10 on Norfolk craigslist....

no affiliation, just noticed it. Mine may be on there too soon - need to get an ad together.

After 21K miles I can say I really enjoy the S10 (comparing it to my VStrom and GS I previously owned).
