There is a lot to be said about morphing one bike into another purpose.........

For example, the X Moto and X Challenge are specialized motorcycles. But sometimes you need to get to the area where their specialization can be used.

I'm setting my X Challenge up to be a long distance touring bike. Lots of luggage and extra weight to "get there"...........but once at the camp site or hotel, all of this comes off for some serious dirt riding. Same thing with a Moto. Load it up, ride 800 miles to the Smoky Mnts, unload and ride the piss out of the roads down there.

These bikes are excellent "transformers". The engines are supper smooth on the slab and they can keep up with anything you'd ride on the highways, yet they can also hold their own in the dirt or in the twisties........
