New River is a rural(ish) area about 20 miles north of phoenix. Plenty of room for tents/campers, also a spare bedroom to offer weary travelers... Tools aplenty and an overcrowded garage. We have no kids but we do have a couple of pretty dumb dogs. Roughly 3 hours from grand canyon, maybe the same to Mexico...
