My business partner has a 996 Twin Turbo. It is nicely sorted out, and modded. Last time I drove it it was making about 600hp at the motor. It is without a doubt the fastest thing I've even been in, on, or driven.

He is big into track days and has telemetry data indicating 0-100mph-0 in 9.x seconds. The accelleration is simply something you can't imagine, you have to experience it or there is no comparison. Maybe a Gixxer 1000 or similar bike....

Truly an amazing ride. I love them, just can't see owning one to putt around on the street.
